Shopping in Hilton Head
If you’re a shopper, you’ll find Hilton Head Island a paradise. Since it’s also a tourist destination, there’s everything here from Thomas Kinkade artwork to bargains at Wal-Mart and everything in between.
Following are some favorite shopping areas in Hilton Head and Bluffton.
Bridge Shopping Center. On the north side of Hilton Head, there are lots of great shops here. There’s also a children’s play area while you shop.
Coligny Plaza. This is one of the oldest shopping centers in Hilton Head Island and has 80 shops and 12 restaurants. It’s right across the beach, so it’s a popular destination.

Fresh Market Shoppes. Located between Palmetto Dunes and Shipyard Plantation, the shops here feature fashion, party supplies, sports equipment, shoes and more. Some good restaurants are located here, too.

Harbour Town & Sea Pines. Lots of name brands here as well as specialty shops, including boutiques, gift and craft stores, jewelry stores, galleries and souvenir shops. Something for everyone in Harbour Town.

Island Crossing Shopping Center. Publix, Walgreen’s and Starbucks are here, right by the entrance to the Sea Pines Resort.
Main Street Village. This is at the entrance to Hilton Head Plantation and features galleries, cafes, pubs and salons.

Mall at Shelter Cove. This is the only enclosed mall on the island and offers more than 256,000 square feet of climate controlled shopping, including all the major mall brands.

Park Plaza. Offers shoppers a couple of restaurants, a supermarket and other convenience outlets.
Tanger Outlet Shoppes I and II
It’s located at the north end of the island just after you pass through Bluffton. The usual outlet mall offerings… name brands at low prices.
Village Exchange. Small shops that are individually owned. A nice place to shop for gifts.
Wal-Mart
Located on Festival Center at Indigo Run, who can resist great bargains from an American institution, even on Hilton Head Island?

Shopping on Hilton Head Island is a true joy. There are plenty of shops and supermarkets along with boutiques and even a large indoor mall. Following are some of our favorites.
Bridge Shopping Center. On the north side of Hilton Head with lots of nice shops.
Coligny Plaza. Located right across from the beach, this is Hilton Head Island’s oldest shopping center.
Fresh Market Shoppes. With fashion boutiques, restaurants and specialty shops, Fresh Market Shoppes is located between Palmetto Dunes and Shipyard Plantation.
Harbour Town & Sea Pines. Harbour Town offers shoppers plenty of specialty shops, galleries and souvenir shops.
Island Crossing Shopping Center. Located at the entrance to the Sea Pines Resort, there is a Publix, Walgreen’s and Starbucks here.
Main Street Village. At the entrance to Hilton Head Plantation, the village has cafes, pubs, salons and shops.
Mall at Shelter Cove. Our climate controlled, 256,000 square foot mall features all the familiar mall national brands.
Park Plaza. Restaurants, a supermarket and convenience shops can be found at Park Plaza.
Tanger Outlet Shoppes I and II. Located at the north end of the island just after you pass through Bluffton, Tanger a classic outlet mall.

Wal-Mart. Located on Festival Center at Indigo Run, Wal-Mart is easily accessible to everyone on Hilton Head Island.
